Champions League

Big matches tonight

Chelsea v Barcelona

Way Chelsea been playing lately fancy Barca, to take a comfortable 2-0 lead from tonight with Messi on the scoresheet.

Bayern Munich v Besiktas
Could be tricky game for Bayern, Besiktas looked good in their group and could cause some problems.
Predicting a 1-1 draw.

Re: Champions League

Plenty goals last night, good 1-1 draw Chelsea and Barcelona with Chelsea all the hardwork to do.
Bayern Munich thumped Besiktas, thought that would have been closer game, tonight big game Sevilla v Man Utd.
Hope United get tactics right and Mourinho pumps up the players, Shaktar and Roma bit of boring game to be honest.

Re: Champions League

Spurs knocked out last night was a shame, felt they sat back after going 1-0 up rather than pressing for another goal. Was a good match and based on 2nd half Juve deserved the win.

Very pleased seeing Man City lose 2-1 last night to FC Basle, although they still go through. Not a big City fan but happy to wind up City fans after defeat.

Liverpool through, fancy them for outside bet on winning, Klopp got them playing well and they have a powerful frontline with Salah, Firmino and Sane all scoring good goals.

No surprise seeing Real Madrid knock out PSG, not convinced they are unbeatable, think if teams really get at them they can be rattled and who knows....

Re: Champions League

Manchester United v Sevilla

Boring first half, United so poor an average very boring to watch. Hope Sevilla buck up in second half Muriel disappointing and needs to get his shooting boots on, would love to see United knocked out.
Boring Boring United.....

Re: Champions League

Barcelona looked good tonight with their 3-0 win over Chelsea.
Messi with two goals and Demebele.

Bayern had already settled their tie, should be good Quarter Final draw on Friday.

Gutted the Blues went out last night at the Nou Camp, but Barca played very well and Messi was in good form so no Champions League this season for us.

Re: Champions League

Great Champions League Quarter Finals

Estatic that Liverpool thrashed Man City, the first 30mins Liverpool were great going forward, should be tie over. Hate Man City!!

Wonder goal from Ronaldo with bicycle kick and Juventus are gone.

Barcelona were fortunate to be gifted goals. not bothered about Seville or Bayern.

Agreed some good matches, also very happy with way Liverpool attacked Man City and proved if you get at them fast and score couple of early goals they are beatable. go Liverpool!!
