Wc

So it’s nearly here.

Who is your favourite, outside tips etc.

Anyone putting any bets on. Would love to hear the views.

Here is my thinking.

Germany start favourites.

Brazil I believe playing the best football coming into it.

Think the way the draw goes they it could be a Germany - Brazil final.

Brazil my tip think they can be the only team to beat themselves.

Outside bet. Belgium. What a fantastic mix, youth power quality experience desire.

Team to cause upsets. Senegal.

England. Win first 2 games. Lose Belgium. And lose in first knockout game.

Re: Wc

Good points Drum.

Think Brazil will be up there, they always are regardless of form going into a World Cup.
I am not too convinced on Germany if I am honest, maybe one of a few but actually think England could do very well as long as they get combative and control in midfield.

Not sure as yet who i think will win.

Re: Wc

Spain and Portugal both Group B, think Spain could be good chance for World Cup, on day can be best.
Think Argentina could have trouble get from group, think England play well.
Like see Colombia do good.

Re: Wc

Good 5-0 win for Russia, but not really much of a challenge
Saudi were quick and had some neat passing but no real goal threat, Russia were good on the counter attack but against the big boys they are no match.

Re: Wc

Portugal 3 - 3 Spain

What a game last night really glad Portugal got a point think they deserved more, Ronaldo show his true class in the match, De gea's howler shows even the best our human.
Very entertaining match, looking forward to seeing Argentina today.

Iceland played really well defensively and trying to counter Argentina and got a good result, well played.

Re: Wc

Stunned...
Colombia 1 - 2 Japan
Fancied Colombia as a dark horse, stupid handball decision and down to 10 men, Falcao did okay but difficult with 10 men.

Thought England were awful last night, and need to play much better.

Re: Wc

Like how Uruguay play, keep it tight and dig out win with Suarez scoring winner today.

Portugal also dig out 1-0 win with Ronaldo score again.

Re: Wc

Thought Spain were lucky tonight, Iran played well and and think they deserved at least a point, got a good manager with Carlos Quieroz.
