Really happy with the performance, disappointed that we picked up yet another red card, but at 26 minutes we found ourselves 3-2 down and down to 10 men so to comeback and win 5-4 showed a hunger and desire which really had me pleased. A timely very good performance from Woodburn on the day yet another 17 year old forward with a lot of potential joins. Good performance from Mr Thompsons side.

Tottenham Reserves 2-1 Dortmund Reserves

Was caught by surprise with the D tactic the fact they scored in the first minutes didn't help but eventually we managed to prevail to revenge the Spurs loss in the previous weeks senior match

Well played Dave, yeah we went D as you have strong Reserve side we went 1-0 early which is not always good thing. Spurs cameback at us and took the points.

Great game just shame we lost, when we were 3-2 thought we would go on and win the match.
Back to the drawing board and maybe a change of formation needed.

Re: Post Matchday 6 Reserve League

Portsmouth Reserves 3 - 2 Atletico Madrid Reserves

Great game so much action and passing the ball around by both clubs, we came up short.
A 3 goal blast in 8 mins from Pompey turned the match, Geovanni was so busy with 15 shots on goal.

Well played Ronaldo, we worked hard throughout the match and that 3 goal blast took us the points.
Keeps us ahead of the pack.
