The Galacticos

Real Madrid Football Club have this afternoon interviewed experienced manager Marco Silva (LukeG) for the positio of Head Coach at the Spanish giants.
After a lengthy 2 hour interview, Silva agreed a 2 year deal with the club and now awaits clearance from the E.F.A that his coaching badges are all correct and up to date to be allowed to take the role.

Marco is an experienced manager in Europe, and likes to play Attacking passing football which maybe 1 of reasons the Spanish Club approached him to take the Head Coach role.
If accepted by the E.F.A, one of his first jobs will be settle World star Cristiano Ronaldo who has been touted around by his agent.  The club will be desperate to hold onto star player and build a new-look team around his scoring and playmaking skills, the new boss will also be keen to hold onto Gareth Bale who Manchester United have made moves to sign.

More news coming soon from the Bernabeu.....

Re: The Galacticos

Real chasing Dybala

Real Madrid Head Coach Marco Silva has today set tongues wagging with his approach to Juventus for star striker Paulo Dybala.  We understand the Madrid boss sees Dybala as a key signing and attacking content from the Spanish side, although the asking price we expect to be very high if the Juventus boss Grandadam is willing to sell their star.
Meanwhile the Madrid boss is currently scouting Europe looking for the players he feels will lift the Spaniards, with Harry Kane, Marcus Rashford and Juan Mata key figures in his plans.

On the training ground the club have started pre-season training getting up fitness and testing out tactics with all players present, lots of good passing play between Ronaldo and Bale who we think most of the possession will be based through as the club look to make it into the Superleague at the first attempt.

Re: The Galacticos

Madrid Compiling Starting 11

Real boss has been compiling his squad on the training ground and working on his starting 11, we have seen several formations been tried out and we understand that the 4-3-3 seems to be his preferred formation.
This allows Real to play an attacking style and use their powerful forward line, up front Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema will be focus for goalscoring.

The likely midfield trio will be Luka Modric, Isco and either Toni Kroos or Casemiro. Modric and Isco will provide more attacking threat with either Kroos or Casemiro as a more box to box midfielder.

The back four will see Sergio Ramos and Raphel Varane as the Centre Backs, with Marcelo and Nacho playing as the full backs looking to push forward and supplement Real's attacking options.

the boss has hinted he would like another forward, and wants to make enquiries for Manchester United's Marcus Rashford. Dele Alli is another target for midfield and Chelsea star Edin Hazard.

Meanwhile the club are putting plans in action to develop the San Bernaebu to make it a World Class Stadium with top class facilities. Work is expected to begin on Friday at the stadium, training has been going well and the club are hoping to arrange several friendlies with Manchester United top of their list for pre season and getting the team set-up ready for the European Championship campaign.

Real Leading the Way

After the first two matches of the European Championship as expected the mighty Real Madrid lead the way with 2 wins, after a 6-2 win over RB Leipzig and 4-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Real have putting some great performances on the pitch much to the delight of manager Marco Silva, Cristiano Ronaldo leads the way with 4 goals with Benzema on 3 and newboy Dybala on 2 goals.
The three man midfield of Modric, Kroos and Isco are proving too hot to handle, with Marcelo the key man in defense.
Fans have been delighted by the attacking football played by Marco Silva, the team has settled well and we understand the manager is looking to bring in a couple of new defenders to give more competition for places. no names have been mentioned but several clubs have been scouted most notably Barcelona and Liverpool.

Meanwhile Stadium Developments are moving along with the new training ground now completed and the next level being planned for immediate work, new stands are currently being developed to increase matchday capacity and parking for the fans.

Real Goalfest
https://i.imgur.com/ghDJbf8.jpg

Well tonight proved a ding dong battle with Feyenoord at the De Kuip Stadium with 7 goals and Real Madrid coming out the winners 4-3. After Sunday's 4-4 draw with Liverpool the fans were treated to more gung ho football with Madrid now scoring 8 goals in two matches.
Cristiano Ronaldo was back to form tonight bagging two goals, the midfield were very busy with their passing with Assensio and El Shaarway providing the neat, intricate passing with Ronaldo and Dybala busy in attack with plenty of on target shooting and fans felt the team should have scored more goals.

Manager "Marco Silva" was very happy at the end of the match, and Real keep up their charge towards promotion and at the halfway point of the season they 25 pts with no defeats and favourites to gain promotion to the Superleague. The manager has hinted that 6 wins from their remaining 9 games should guarantee promotion, but no one is taking anything for granted.

Goals Galore

A goalfest at the Philipps Stadion last night with 12 goals scored and could have been more as Real Madrid came out the victors in an 8-4 win and one step closer to promotion.  The club now need just 6 points from 18 points and will play in the top flight next season.
Ronaldo, Dybala and Benzema were in great form last night creating shot after shot and bagging 2 goals each with midfielder Llorente and defender Sergio Ramos scoring the other goals.
Fans were throughly excited at last night's game with both teams really going for attacking football and the goals flowing with a sellout crowd, manager "Marco Silva" was throughly delighted with his team's performance.

"I am delighted with my team, the players played great football throughout the match and we deserved our margin of victory.  We now need just 2 more wins to guarantee promotion."

Re: The Galacticos

No Cup Joy for Real

On a good night for Real Madrid who travelled to Manchester United trying to overturn a 2-0 deficit, they earned a 2-1 win at old Trafford but not enough to make the final.
Midfielder Thiago was the key man on the night with two goals and the Man of the Match Award, Ronaldo had plenty of chances but was wasteful at the United goal, De Gea had a good game for United.
Real Madrid fans left manchester happy with the performance but disappointed that extra goal could not be found, but its been a great cup run this season.

Now attentions turn to the league on Wednesday night and securing the League Title to go with their promotion, Head Coach "Marco Silva" has stated he will rotate his team and give some of the other players a runout but they will still play attacking football looking for goals and the league title.
