BLACK CATS NEWS.....

We'll be bringing all the news from Wearside from the Mighty Black Cats, owner Stewart Donald was delighted this evening to receive permission from the EFA to appoint "Jose Mourinho" as their club manager.
The Black Cats fans were delighted with the news, but many journalists have stated this seems a big backstep and surprising decision to leave Spain and Deportivo La Coruna after only 4 pre season matches and 1 league match.
But those close to the new manager know that if his mind is set and he has a vision he will go and do it, not one for following protocol or the norm, his flamboyancy will now be strutted at the Stadium of the Light.
The club have had a poor time in recent years dropping down to League One through poor ownership from Ellis Short, but now with the new owner, new manager and new goals the club can once again look forward to building some strength in the North East of England and battle against rivals Newcastle United currently in the Championship.

We hop to get a statement from the new gaffer and his plans for the club....

The club sold 6 players this past week to help raise cash for signings, in coming were defenders Halliday and Gello arrived, Dean Smith and L Ball arrived to boost midfield places.
Dean Smith signing from Portsmouth is seen as a big statement he is highly regarded for the future, the club are now scouting round for a Goalkeeper and a couple of strikers.

Re: Black Cats News......

Sunderland Defeat

Last night was a very unlucky night for Sunderland as they picked up their first home defeat this season after losing 3-1 to West Brom, the match was a very even affair but the Sunderland strikers wasted 7 chances on goal and Baggies were more clinical.
Both team created the chances, passed the ball around with even possession but on the night the Baggies had better strikers and now the Black Cats need to pick themselves up ready for Wednesday night.
The Black Cats travel to Preston and will be looking for a better performance, manager "Jose Mourinho" was seen to be very distraught at the final whistle and kept the players locked in the dressing room after the match.
All eyes will be on Deepdale on Wednesday night.....
