RED DEVILS news......

After Manchester United were reported to the E.F.A after poaching manager "Mikey" from Championship side Tottenham Hotspur, the new boss settled into Old Trafford quickly preparing his squad for the opening league match away at bitter rivals Chelsea.
United started well in the match where both teams through caution to the wind and provided one of the best matches seen in years and with 10 goals as they shared a 5-5 draw.  United were 5-3 up at halftime, goals came from Alexis Sanchez who scored twice and leading the early goalscoring charts, Mata, Matic and Pogba added further goals.  United lined up with a new look 3-5-1-1 formation and provided much attacking threat but also showed defensive frailities by leaking 5 goals.
At the end of the match, the United boss seemed happy but 3pts were there for the taking and next up a home match with Dutch visitors Ajax.

Transfer News............
Old Trafford chiefs have confirmed tonight the club have agreed a deal with Feyenoord to sign two promising youngsters in T Malacia and C Verdonk with Anthony Martial going to the Dutch side + £10 miilion.
We expect some more signings in the next few days.....

Re: Red Devils

United Report

Manchester United manager "Mikey" seems very content with life at Old Trafford, the Red Devils have started the season well with 1 win and 2 draws in the league in the opening 3 games.
Alexis Sanchez has hit the season in great form with 6 goals in 4 matches (including pre season), and the main choice of the manager in the lone striker role in United's 3-5-1-1 formation.  The manager seems to favour one striker and will have his hands busy rotating the strikers with Zlatan Imbrahimovic, Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku, and new signing T Malacia all waiting in the wings.
Chelsea have made a £25 million offer for Romelu Lukaku along with Bayern Munich and we understand both offers have so far been rejected by the club.

Fans are enjoying the passing football of United, with Paul Pogba, Juan Mata, Ashley Young and Jesse Lingaard all in double figures for key passing. N Matic is having a good season in midfield with his box to box style of play,
At the back it seems clear the managed has not settled on his preferred back 3, with no fewer than 10 players having playing time in defense.  We do understand the club are currently looking for defenders across Europe.

The club have indicated that Maroune Felliani, Zlatan Imbrahimovic, S Romero and most of the current defenders at the club are available for the right price or deal.

Re: Red Devils

United on Title Charge

The season is now at the halfway point and Manchester United are good position to make a title charge, currently in 2nd place 1 point behind surprise leaders Chelsea and the only unbeaten club in the division.
Manager "Mikey" has team playing well and scoring goals with 30 goals in their 9 league matches and into the Semi Finals of the EFA Cup, much of the scoring has come from Alexis Sanchez with 11 goals in 11 matches.  Marcus Rashford has also been in good form with 6 goals in 10 games, with Matic and Pobga weighing in with 4 each from midfield.

United have surprised many playing with an unorthodox 3-3-1-3 formation, the team has settled in well with no major signings only young Malacia signed from Feyenoord.  There are rumours around Old Trafford that up to 8 players will be leaving the club in the coming week, the manager has made it clear he would like to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club and has had 4 offers rejected.
The club have leaked news they are tracking Edin Hazard (Chelsea). P Coutinho (Barcelona), K Coman (Bayern Munich), Mohammed Salah (Liverpool) and L Ocampos (Marseille).

Developments are going on well at old Trafford with more plans to be revealed the next few days.....

Re: Red Devils

United Bounce Back

After a disappointing 3-1 defeat to leaders Chelsea last week, United boss "Mikey" switched formation to a new look 4-3-2-1 which worked well last night as the Red Devils beat Ajax 3-1 in Holland.
Alexis Sanchez was sent out as the lone striker and scored twice in the win with a busy performance up front, Paul Pogba had probably his best game of the season playing as an attacking midfielder and was busy with his passing skills.
Jesse Lingaard too had a fine game with young Verdonk playing well in a reshuffled back four, United looked solid and fans will be hoping that United stick with the formation and style of play.
The win keeps them 4 points behind leaders Chelsea and hoping the Blues slip up in the remaining 7 matches, so all to play for and an EFA 2 leg semi final coming up against Real Madrid.

Defenders Daley Blind and Luke Shaw have left the club, and the manager will be looking to bring in new faces before the end of the season as United are light at the back with tough tackling defenders.
The midfield looks strong and up front have options with an unhappy Romelu Lukaku, and with Rashford and Malacia. Zlatan Imbrahimovic will be leaving the club with PSV looking the most likely to sign the veteran striker.

Re: Red Devils

Cup Joy!!

Manchester United feeling Cup joy tonight after a great 2-0 win away at Real Madrid in the EFA Cup Semi Finals 1st Leg with a good solid team performance.
The boss was delighted after the match, with goals from Alexis Sanchez and Jesse Lingaard put United in a commanding position for the 2nd leg at Old Trafford.  The star midfielder was Anders Herrera in his last game at the club putting in a good defensive and attacking performance and after the match sped off to Germany to join RB Leipzig.
Paul Pogba played well along with Jesse Lingaard who scored one of the goals, in attack Sanchez was always a threat to the Madrid defense with several shots and should have scored at least another goal on the night.  But at the end of the match the travelling away fans were shouting "Who are you, Who are you...." and the Madrid home crowd.
The tie is now set-up for an explosive 2nd leg at Old Trafford.

At the end of the match the club announced transfer activity with Zlatan Imbrahimovic, Anders Herrera and Phil Jones all agreeing terms with RB Leipzig and jetted off to Germany tonight to join their new club.
United welcomed Brazilian Attacking midfielder Fernando and young hot prospect defender in 19 year old D Upemecano, two good players for the club.
On social media tonight fans were stunned to hear that manager "Mikey" will be leaving at the end of the season after only 1 year in charge. We understand the United boss has had talks with three clubs who will possibly be playing in the new European 3 next season, AZ67 Alkmaar, Arsenal or Leicester City.
Many United fans will be disappointed as the manager has led the club to Semi Finals in the cup, and currently 2nd place in the league.

No replacement has been announced at this time...

3rd Manager in 3 Seasons

Withe EFA managers swapping clubs like sweets, will we finally see the settling down of managers and clubs?  Tonight news coming out of Old Trafford is that the club have sacked previous manager Maltas after 1.5 seasons in charge and appointed the former Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa (2 weeks) manager "Marco Silva" as boss.
The Old Trafford Board have stated that "the club needs stability, we have fallen behind rivals Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham and now is time to rebuild", on social media when the new boss was announced was met with much positive vibes and comments, the new boss gave Real Madrid a league title and just missed out on a league title with Borussia Dortmund.   Now he has already started work at Old Trafford, by transfer listing defenders Vindelof, Rojo, midfielders Carrick, and Young and the big surpise listing strikers Sanchez, Lukaku with Malacia and Rashford not necessarily guaranteed places.

So the new boss has really set out to rebuild United, keepers Romero and Johnstone have been told to leave the club while the club have tabled offers on former Manchester City defensive midfielder Fernandinho, young defender I Konate and looking at a list of targets the manager has given to Ed Woodward to bring to the club.

UNITED BOSS SPENDS £175 MILLION

The new United boss really got inot his job in the last 24 hours spending £175 million, sending the likes of Ashley Young, Fernando and Eric Bailly out of Old Trafford.
A new club record spend saw £45 million of Full back Kyle Walker, £35 million on midfielder Jack Wilshere, £40 million on young defender I Konate, £35 million on German midfielder Sami Khedira and some cash in the deal that caught everyone excited with Antoine Griezmann completing is move to the club.
Griezmann is one of Europe's and the World's top strikers and demonstrates United's intent to stop Chelsea's pursuit of the League title and home silverware.

The boss has clearly in mind the team he wants to build, Lindelof and Rojo will be leaving Old Trafford after being told they do not feature in the plans, strikers Alexis, Romelu Lukaku, T Malacia and Marcus Rashford have all been told they can leave the club and will play no part in the plans.
Two players very excited are 18 year old keeper M Kovar called up to the first team, and striker 18 year old Angel Gomes.

Re: Red Devils

United Send Out Warning

After two seasons of United falling behind rivals in Europe and some poor management decisions by previous managers the club and fans are now positive they have the right manager and the club set to move back to the top of football.  Not since Sir Alex Ferguson or Sir Matt Busby has their been so much excitement about the new team, manager and plans at the club....
Last a new look formation and team put a strong solid performance and result to send a warning through Europe...the manager "Marco Silva" stated:-
"That was one of club's best performances in recent seasons although only a friendly, everyone did their job, kept their shape and it showed. Griezmann and Fernandinho were immense, this sends a warning were back ready to challenge as the media seem fixed on Chelsea and Liverpool for the title."

Now attentions turn to the first league match on Sunday as United travel to Anfield for a bitter rivalry with Liverpool one of the bookies favourite for the title.
Asked about Sunday's opener the boss replied:-
"Liverpool are a good side, have a good manager and the best striker over the last two seasons but does not make them unbeatable.  I have seen some chinks in their armor and will look to exploit them, we have the strength and players to beat them in front of their own fans."

Fighting words from the United boss, whatever happens Sunday it will be one hell of a match.

Re: Red Devils

BREAKING NEWS FROM OLD TRAFFORD.......

Tonight we have learnt that Manchester United and Juventus have struck a deal, after talks with both Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba and their agents came to a head.
The Argentinian playmaker will be joining the Red Devils in a stunning move, and Pogba returns back to Turin to join Juventus.  This transfer deal caught everyone by surprise especially the United midfielder who seemed content at United, but the manager looking at his stats over the last two season was not happy with his contribution compared to what Messi has done for his clubs.
We understand the Argentinian star wanted to try his skills in the rough tough Premier League and was happy to sign for United and his agent pocketing a sizeable fee too.

Fans will be drooling at the prospect of seeing the star in the red shirt of United, now the manager needs to work out how to get the best from Messi, either as striker with Griezmann in partnership or play just behind Griezmann pulling the strings.  Messi will not officially sign at Old Trafford until after the league trip to Anfield.
