Italian Football

Juventus remain unbeaten after 19 games and looking odds on their 35th League title, with Napoli nearest challengers at 9pts adrift.
Surprising to see Inter, Lazio, AC Milan and Roma so far behind.

At the bottom Chievo and Frosinone both have only won 1 match in 19 games and struggling, I am surprised to Bologna struggling near the relegation zone, usually their a top 10 side but not playing well.
Inter struggled to beat Empoli 1-0 showing their lack of quality,
Atalanta are a surprise as top scorers currently in Serie A with 39 goals after putting 6 past Sassuolo.

The race for promotion to Serie A is hotting up with Palermo (who see saw between Serie A and Serie B) leading and was funny reading that Deans Holdsworth is being a Senior Advisor to take over at the club, he was an average footballer at best in lower leagues.  Brescia and Pescara are chasing hard and Lecce, Hellas Verona also ion the mix.

Re: Italian Football

Yeah Palermo looking good at moment for promotion from Serie B, think Brescia could be a good bet for Serie B title.

SSC Bari playing great in Group I of Serie D, unbeaten in 17 games with a 9pts lead.
Home to Messina on Sunday and looking for another win.

Re: Italian Football

Agree Brescia have a good side and playing some good football, but still feel Palermo the favourites for the Serie B League title.

Re: Italian Football

Some big games in Serie A this weekend...

Juventus vs Napoli two top clash and Juventus looked poor last week with 1-0 win over Bologna but struggled, whereas Napoli i think could win this match and close the points gap.
Lazio vs Roma another big match the Rome derby could be a close match, money on Lazio to win this one.

Udinese take on Bologna and should win, a real relegation 3 pointer as Udinese not played well this season but should take the points and move clearer from the drop zone.

Re: Italian Football

Were looking good for promotion from Group I of Serie D fo Serie C next season, on 66pts and 11pts clear of Turris neopolis with 6 games to play.

Only 2 defeats for SSC Bari this season, Iadresta and Pozzebon and both been in great form and with 61 goals scored were clearly best team in the division. Serie C will be tougher next season but we should be there and enjoy moving through the pyramid.

Re: Italian Football

Disappointing results for Parma yesterday drawing 0-0 with Torino, Torino were the better side having the possession and passing game to frustrate Parma Calcio.
We only had 1 shot out of 6 on goal, leaves us in 13th place and Torino in 7th place, we should have enough to stay up in Serie A for next season.
