The Blades - Welcome to Sheffield United

The Blades have not had the best start to the season after relegation from the Premier League last season and bitter city rivals Sheffield Wednesday staying up on the last day of the season, they are currently bottom of the Championship with 5 defeats from 5 games only scoring 1 goals and leaking 11 goals.
The club owners Kevin McCabe and Prince Abdullah are clearly in agreement things need to change quickly and tonight at 6.30pm they announced that "Marco Silva" had agreed to take a part time role to build and re-direct the club fortunes on the pitch.
The new part-time boss will no doubt be looking to revitalise the club, with many key players sold off it will like starting out building a whole new team with two targets in mind avoiding a double relegation and trying to return back to the Premier League.
We do expect to see several of the big name players currently at the club to be traded off to help the boss build a new team from scratch and new change in formation and tactics, watch this space for more Blades news.....

New Look Team Taking Shape

After the club owners Kevin McCabe and Prince Abdullah made a drastic decision and appointed a caretaker boss in "Marco Silva" the club have been working hard to target players and bring in new players to change the poor start the relegated team have made so far this season.  Blades fans came out in numbers this morning to welcome several new faces at the club with the biggest being veteran Spanish International Fernando Torres, who surprised everyone by signing for the Yorkshire club.  Torres has always scored goals wherever he has played and brings experience and goalscoring to the club to partner with Edison Cavani, Jack Marriott has switched clubs and joined from Derby County for a fee rumoured to be £30 million.
Serbian midfielder Sasa Lukic has also joined the club in a swap deal with Mikel Merino who has now left the club, French left back M Le Marchand has also arrived to day to bolster the United defense.  With only 19 first team players the club will no doubt look to bring in several more new faces to build the manager's plans, and the club have also indicated they will be looking to add players to the U23s Academy.
Exciting times ahead for United, and the work starts on Sunday night in the Championship when they on high flying Bury FC at Gigg Lane which will be the boss's first match in charge.

Re: The Blades - Welcome to Sheffield United

BLADES ON FIRE

The new boss "Marco Silva" has been a revelation since arriving at the Blades, with 6 wins in a row scoring 28 goals and only conceding 1 goal on a rise up to 4th place in the Championship.
Last night the Blades won 7-0 away at turf moor over Burnley with goals coming in from Lincoln 2 goals, Fernando Torres 2 goals, and sub Ederson Cavani with a hatrick.  McCllamont put in a great defensive midfield performance with his passing, tackling and assist in scoring, Jason was in great form on the right side of midfield with 8 key passes, Shelvey matched him on the left with 6 key passes.
Pezzella again captained the defense into another shutout, and the final whistle brought much jubiliation from the players, fans and beaming manager.
Many fans on social media have stated if the caretaker boss had been at the club start of season they would be at the top with Southampton and Shrewsbury Town battling for promotion, but despite their great form clawing back 10 points is a big ask with Saints and Shrews not really dropping points.  But the players and manager will keep battling away, and in football you never know what is around the corner.....
For now the club are enjoying the changes and development, on field performances and all looks good for a promotion push next season.
